Myanmar, formally known as Burma, was a destination for millions of migrants particularly from India. In recent decades, the political and economic isolation of the country meant people stopped going there and only remnants of its cosmopolitan past remained. Now once again, foreigners are moving back in and Andrew Whitehead has been taking a ferry across the Yangon River to see how the city and its people have changed and are changing.

And finally, we鈥檙e going on a school trip. In the UK that might mean a trip to a museum or a theme park pretending to have an educational function. In Northern Canada, the school trips are much more memorable. Ollie Williams meets the teacher with a penchant for butchery who is leading the outing.
