We remember Sir Winston Churchill's funeral with an outside broadcast from Bladon. On January 30th 1965, Britain鈥檚 greatest statesman was laid to rest in Bladon near Woodstock. There is no sign post or marker to lead you to his grave, just the memories and stories of those people who were there on that day. From the pallbearer who lowered the coffin in to the grave, to the little boy who peeped over his garden fence at the Rolls Royce鈥檚 snaking past, this is the very personal story of a grieving family, nation and Empire, told through the eyes of the village that became Winston Churchill鈥檚 final resting place.
