More than 130 years after the first skyscraper came to dominate the North American skyline, Why is the race to the top still as hot as ever? We hear from Anthony Wood, director of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat based in Chicago, while the 主播大秀's Gianna Palmer tests her head for heights at the top of the new One World Trade Center building in New York. We also hear from Chinese engineer Daniel Choi of Yuan Da Construction, responsible for building some of the biggest towers in Asia, and Bora Gulan from lift-makers Otis, on the challenges of building lifts for the next generation of super-tall buildings.
