FIFA re-elects Sepp Blatter for a fifth term in office amid corruption scandal

Sepp Blatter is re-elected president of Fifa, football's world governing body, in a vote overshadowed by arrests and corruption allegations. Mr Blatter's rival, Prince Ali bin al-Hussein of Jordan, had forced a second round of voting but withdrew. Kara Scannell, Investigations Correspondent for the Financial Times, gave us her reaction to the vote from New York.

Friday was a day for some big quarterly GDP figures. India's economy grew by 7.3 per cent during 2014-15.
