FA's Greg Dyke: It's a 'serious day for Fifa leadership'

The FA's chairman said the arrests of several Fifa officials on corruption charges mark a "very serious day for Fifa and its leadership".

Greg Dyke told 5 live's Adrian Chiles the FA would continue to back Sepp Blatter's rival Prince Ali bin al-Hussein, should the election go ahead.

He added that he was expecting the upcoming Fifa congress to be "livelier" than usual: claiming a previous congress he attended "reminded [him] of something out of North Korea".

Fifa communications director Walter De Gregorio said news of the arrrests "hurts" but "confirms we are on the right track".
