Singer Mabel was in the studio with Clara to play us her new track My Boy My Town.

She told us how she reacted when Adele tweeted about her music: "I cried, I'm not gonna lie, I cried a lot".

Mabel also told us how moving from Sweden affected her music: "I don't think I could be making the music I am now if I wasn't here, it has quite a British sound". She kept her love for R&B secret in Sweden, "always slyly listening to Lauryn Hill and Destiny's Child".

Her musical family may have influenced her writing, after all her mother was successful singer Neneh Cherry and her father worked with the Sugababes, but she chose not to work with her parents "If I can do this on my own then I know that there's something behind it."
