A documentary series, The Truth About Diabetes was recently broadcast on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã World Service and it caused worry among many listeners. In response, Deborah Cohen, the editor of science programmes, explains what her teams’ responsibility is in ensuring it hits the fine line between empowerment and concern when broadcasting information about health issues.
