A former Conservative cabinet minister has warned that a vote to leave the European Union would have "immense" legislative consequences for the government.

Andrew Lansley, who served as leader of the House of Commons and Health Secretary in the coalition government, told Radio 4's Mark Mardell: "It would really get in the way of doing almost anything else in parliament for a substantial period of time."
