Mark O'Donnell is a Scottish singer/songwriter now living on the Herefordshire/Welsh border near Kington.

When not making music Mark works in marketing for a foster agency.

He says: "I'm all about exploring emotion and mood with music. Mixing different styles and connecting with my audience."

He recently played at the HowTheLightGetsInFestival in Hay-on-Wye and it was a pleasure to introduce him to our stage at this year's Worcester Music Festival.

"A pin-drop performance from a sophisticated young singer/songwriter with a lifetime's worth of stories for inspiration" - Andrew Marston.

The Kidderminster Christmas Lights have been officially switched on today by 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester.

Over these coming weeks, we'll be pushing down the switch in Worcester (17th), Bromsgrove (19th), Bromyard (19th) and Malvern (26th).

主播大秀 Introducing has chosen a number of the acts to appear in front of thousands of shoppers, this month, which you'll be hearing on the radio as we take you through the festive period.

The Gadget Show

The Gadget Show

A Redditch rapper has had the opportunity of a lifetime to invest in new equipment after appearing on Channel 5's The Gadget Show.

Abel Gray, whose real name is Sam Ledoyen, approached the presenters with a budget of 拢500 to find new tech to enhance his performance.

Abel mixes hip-hop with various eclectic influences to bring storytelling and melody together in new and interesting ways.

In the end, Abel chose the Zoom Arq as the ideal instrument for both the studio and his live shows.

主播大秀 Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

主播大秀 Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival
This month's sessions were recorded at the Worcester Arts Workshop, as part of this year's Worcester Music Festival.

The free event, which saw more than 200 performances across 30 venues in the city, raised 拢4,139 for Acorns Children's Hospice.

The idea of bringing as many venues together, to host live music, began nine years ago in the hope of making the city known for more than just sauce.

Since then, they've gone on to raise thousands of pounds for local charities and 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester has been involved in the event since day one.

Tributes: Leonard Cohen

Tributes: Leonard Cohen

The poet and singer, Leonard Cohen, has died at the age of 82.

He made his name as an author before moving into music; his latest album was released last month.

His best known composition, Hallelujah, is one of the most recorded songs ever.

In 2008, he was one of the headliners at the Big Chill Festival at Eastnor Castle, an event that attracted around 40,000 people to the foot of the Malvern Hills.

Tonight, we hear听tributes from festival organiser Katrina Larkin.

An exhibition helping farmers to make money alongside more traditional farming has been held at the NEC in Birmingham this week.

Many landowners in Herefordshire and Worcestershire have had to diversify after struggling to make profits on animals and crops over the past few years.

We chat to Ben Leak who听farms just outside Upton and has hosted the Livestock Music Festival for the past two years.

主播大秀 Introducing at the Malvern Christmas Lights

主播大秀 Introducing at the Malvern Christmas Lights
Our next recording session takes place on Saturday 26 November and we officially switch on Malvern's Christmas Lights!

We'll be featuring several acts who we've been playing on 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester recently.

None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us at听.
