Paul Tarry was born in Bromsgrove in 1985 and now lives just down the road from the Evesham Arts Centre at Harvington.

He's been playing music since the age of 12 and with three young children and a full time job, he says it's taken him a little bit longer to get to this point.

He met his songwriting partner, Christian J Hill, a year ago and on their first night of meeting they wrote a track that would then go on to be played across all 39 主播大秀 Local Radio stations in Britain.

"A stunning live performance from an artist who鈥檚 been turning a lot of heads nationally after releasing his debut single" - Andrew Marston.

Lakefest

Lakefest
Feeder, Wilko Johnson and Seth Lakeman are just three of the names who've been confirmed to play at this year's Lakefest.

We're exactly half a year until their next event takes place at Eastnor Castle near Ledbury - and it turns out that the doctor who cured Wilko Johnson of cancer comes to the festival every single year.

X Factor support

X Factor support
Former X Factor winner Sam Bailey is looking for local singers to support her when she performs in Malvern.

She has launched a competition for wannabe singers to open her Sing My Heart Out show at the Forum Theatre on 11 March.

Sam won the X Factor in 2013 and believes there are plenty of rising stars who can seize their 15 minutes of fame.

Sound On Sound

Sound On Sound
What's the best way to record a band?

Last month, we started a brand new series with Paul White - the editor-in-chief of the recording magazine Sound On Sound, which Paul edits from his home in Malvern.

Since the 80s, his publication has been packed full of advice and reviews - covering everything from equipment, microphone placement, software and the best amps on the market.

This week, it's the last in our series and we discuss mastering...mastering!

Toyah at the Evesham Arts Centre

Toyah at the Evesham Arts Centre
This month's sessions were recorded at the Evesham Arts Centre.

The venue, which has been hosting a variety of performances in their 300-seat auditorium since 1979, is run by volunteers.

During February, they're hosting a variety of folk acts and musicals along with a special guest appearance, next Saturday, from Toyah Willcox.

主播大秀 Introducing in Leominster

主播大秀 Introducing in Leominster
主播大秀 Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our area.

Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 26 February where we'll be rolling up to the White Lion in Leominster to record several acts who we've been playing on 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester recently.

We'll bring the bands - all we need now is the fans!

None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they听uploaded to us.

So if you'd like to Be Part Of It, then simply turn up any time from 6pm - it's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!
