Northumbrian piper and Former Folk Award winner Kathryn Tickell hosts performances from the four nominees for the 2017 Young Folk Award.

The nominated artists are duo Charlie Grey & Joseph Peach, Amelia Coburn, Eryn Rae and duo Josie Duncan & Pablo Lafuente.

They were selected from a shortlist of ten finalists after an intense songwriting and performance weekend at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal in Cumbria back in January. The weekend had some special sessions held by Nancy Kerr and James Fagan and culminated in a final concert, where a panel of judges decided on this year鈥檚 four nominees.
