SNP 'more popular today than 10 years ago'

The possible rise in Conservative support in Scotland was down to the collapse of Scottish Labour, says Tommy Sheppard on the polling and election fortunes for SNP, Labour and Tories.

The SNP MP told Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn that his party had been in government for 10 years and was "more popular today than when we were elected 10 years ago".

They also spoke about the so-called 'rape clause' changes in child tax credit benefits, which has been a key issue in the campaign for Scottish seats.
