主播大秀 Introducing at Nozstock

主播大秀 Introducing at Nozstock
This month's sessions were recorded at Nozstock near Bromyard.

Russell Howard describes it as "a rural slice of English eccentricity" and Phill Jupitus & The Blockheads say "Nozstock is the best festival of its size in the UK".

This event started as a family BBQ more than 15 years ago that just got out of hand!听

Headliners, this year, included听Seasick Steve,听Happy Mondays,听Hayseed Dixie听and听Goldie Lookin Chain.

We were there on the Sunday hosting our very own 主播大秀 Introducing stage; highlights will be broadcast throughout August here on 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester.

18 - 20 August: Pershore Jazz Festival
This weekend, it's the Pershore Jazz Festival, which has grown from small beginnings to become a well-respected part of the British jazz scene.

Whilst their regular jazz club tends to be more traditional, the festival provides scope for a much wider range of jazz appreciation and they feel that following only one particular style means missing a lot of 'good' music.

Pershore Jazz is a not-for-profit organisation run by an unpaid committee dedicated to the cause of quality jazz for all to enjoy.

Highlights: The Worcester Show

Highlights: The Worcester Show
10,000 people visited it last year - and this year they're hoping they've smashed that figure; the Worcester Show took place, on Sunday, at Gheluvelt Park featuring an afternoon of live music.

The free event included a dog show, food and drink, market stalls, children's sports, interactive workshops, arts, crafts and competitions plus a flower show.

Entertainment was provided by Worcester band Supernova, community choir Got To Sing and 主播大秀 Introducing favourite .

主播大秀 Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival
Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 17 September at Drummonds, as part of the Worcester Music Festival.

This annual event 听was first staged in 2008 by Chris Bennion, who makes Worcestershire Sauce.

He set up a website called NotJustSauce - aiming to put Worcester on the map musically.

It's been dubbed as Britain's version of SXSW in Texas!

Taking place in around multiple venues across the city, from pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes to historic buildings, river cruisers, record shops, on the streets and even in breweries, the festival is absolutely free to attend with hundreds of gigs to choose from.
