New facial capture tech makes CGI more real
A system of creating live rendering of computer-generated (CGI) characters鈥� facial expressions has been developed by Industrial Light and Magic (ILM).
Facial capture has been available for a few years, but until now the director has been unable to see the expression of the character鈥檚 face during the recording.
The system should allow actors to give more realistic performances to computer-generated characters.
