Loyle Carner talks to Clare Crane about his 6 Music Live performance
Loyle Carner spoke exclusively to 6 Music News about his Maida Vale performance for 6 Music Live.
The rapper from South London performed mostly tracks from his Mercury nominated debut album Yesterday's Gone, opening with The Isle of Arran with the House Gospel Choir and including favourites Damselfly, No worries (which he performed with Jehst and Rebel Kleff) and Florence (with Kwes) into his set.
The highlight of the gig was when his mum, Jean, joined him on stage for a big hug at the end of the show after he performed song Sun of Jean. The gig was the day before his 23rd birthday and as he stepped off stage 6 Music New's Clare Crane spoke to him about his performance and his birthday plans.
