MPs braced themselves for up to eight hours of debate on the EU Withdrawal Bill in the Commons on Tuesday, as they were set to go over the details of the Brexit legislation designed to copy EU rules into UK law to ensure a smooth transition in March 2019.

Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn heard from former Conservative cabinet minister Theresa Villiers, who campaigned for Brexit, and Labour's Chris Leslie, a member of the pro-EU campaign group Open Britain, on the stances of the government and opposition.
