Chris Patten on eight-year-old Jacob Rees-Mogg
Conservative Party heavyweights Chris Patten and Jacob Rees-Mogg have clashed over Brexit.
Speaking to Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics, the former Conservative Party chairman Lord Patten said Jacob Rees-Mogg鈥檚 views when he was an 鈥渆ccentric鈥� and 鈥渃harming鈥� eight year-old are still the same as they are now that he is 48.
Jacob Rees-Mogg hit back by saying it is a 鈥済reat sadness鈥� that Lord Patten 鈥渄oesn鈥檛 want democracy in the United Kingdom鈥�.
