Liverpool fan: 'I'm absolutely disgusted' with Champions League final defeat
Liverpool fan Stephen has blamed Loris Karius for their 3-1 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid in Kiev.
Speaking with Kelly Cates and Mark Lawrenson, the reds fan said: "You鈥檙e saying that Ronaldo and Bale might be on the free, well I鈥檇 rather have them in net than Loris Karius.
"I鈥檓 absolutely disgusted. Yeah, you鈥檙e saying you might feel sorry for him, but he鈥檚 a professional footballer and he goes into this job knowing exactly what he鈥檚 going to face.
"Liverpool have chucked it away completely, and my 84-year-old nana could have saved that second one from Bale," he added.
Gareth Bale scored one of European football's great goals to help Real Madrid overcome Liverpool and win their third successive Champions League title as goalkeeper Loris Karius suffered a personal nightmare.
