It was billed as the ‘ultimate house party’ with more than 65 acts, 5 stages, a sauna, swimming pool and real toilets!
Ìý
Set in the beautiful location of Baskerville Hall, near Hay-on-Wye, the organisers hosted three days of DJs, bands, theatre, comedy, burlesque, cinema and AV shows.

This year the fancy dress theme was 'National Treasures versus Guilty Pleasures' withÌýBeardyman headlining the event.

Lawrence Taylor earned his stripes the hard way.

Performing at open mic nights in Birmingham, while living in Redditch, he gradually pieced his material together, working out what did and didn't work in the glare of the spotlight.

He's already landed a coveted spot on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 1 playlist after uploading his music to us - and this week, as we look ahead to Ö÷²¥´óÐã Music Introducing at Reading & Leeds later this month, we hear some previously unbroadcast session tracks from Lawrence - as recorded in Reading two years ago.

Historically, our Reading and Leeds line-up has been one of the strongest of all our stages throughout the festival season with acts such as Slaves, Catfish & the Bottlemen and Jack Garratt making their Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing debuts here.

Held across three days, Amplify offered exclusive access to the UK music industry’s biggest names through intimate talks, music masterclasses and recording workshops.

This week, we talk money, mental health and songwriting with Frank Carter, who began his career as a rock singer in Gallows in 2005.
Ìý
Two years later, he released his first studio album after signing a £1m deal with Warner Bros Records.
Ìý
Frank eventually left the band, after the deal ended, going on to form Pure Love (who went on hiatus) so created Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.

In 2015, they released their debut album and have taken the festival circuit by storm.

Empyre perform intense, atmospheric rock, with a dark and introspective edge to their writing.

The quartet, who are based in both Bromsgrove and Northampton, take in influences such as Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam and Royal Blood and lay on a storming live show.

This was their eighth annual event, featuring tonnes of local bands.

This year they extended the festival to three days - so on the Sunday, we were there hosting a stage dedicated to Herefordshire and Worcestershire artists chosen from theÌý.

The event, run by a group of volunteers, is paid for by ticket sales alone.

Since the beginning of 2011, we've taken our Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing show out on-the-road to various areas across our patch.
Ìý
Every month, we rock up at a different venue with a pile of microphones, cables and recording equipment along with several vans full of enthusiastic musicians!
Ìý
As well as the bands being able to invite an audience, we also bring along a number of music industry professionals to comment on the live acts.
Ìý
We tend to host our sessions on evenings/weekends is because it's normally a quiet time for venues - so effectively you get a free gig curated with the best bands (from the thousands who have submitted their music to us), full tech provided, plusÌýÌý- so effectively you just need to open your doors!
