But now imagine the music playing is...terrible. Will it make a difference to how much you enjoy your meal?

Professor Barry Smith, thinks so. He is director of the Centre for the Study of the Senses at the the University of London. He proves his point by doing a sonic tasting experiment with presenter Chris Mason on Radio 4's World Tonight programme.
