Jack Hyphen began writing mellow acoustic tracks after the split of听Herefordshire indie rock band Point Zero, which he was the front man of.

Jack, who鈥檚 from Shobdon near Leominster, draws influence from artists such as Ben Howard, Bombay Bicycle Club, Alt-J, MGMT, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Two Door Cinema Club, Biffy Clyro and Hozier.

However, to fill out our 主播大秀 Music stage at Lakefest, he recruited some additional musicians...from his old band, Point Zero!

"A dynamic songwriter with beautiful melodies and a real warmth on stage" - Andrew Marston.

Lakefest: Reverend & The Makers

Lakefest: Reverend & The Makers
One of the Saturday headliners this year's Lakefest were Sheffield band Reverend & The Makers.

The band, who were effectively named by the Arctic Monkeys, have been together for just over ten years and say politics have a big part to play in their success.

Having invited Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn on stage during one of their gigs, they say that relationship has sparked a new found interest in their music among fans.

We'll hear their top tips for new musicians on this week's show.

Lakefest: The Waterboys

Lakefest: The Waterboys
Also performing on the Saturday of Lakefest were The Waterboys, best known for their single The Whole Of The Moon.

The band has been together since 1983, however lead singer Mike Scott has been the only consistent member throughout that time.

Many of their songs were recorded at Rockfield Studios near Monmouth.

Lakefest: Dr Meaker

Lakefest: Dr Meaker
Also performing on the main stage were Dr Meaker, who've just been signed by one of the members of UB40.

We hear about the band's journey so far and how they've been taking the festival circuit by storm.
