House of Fraser could be facing choppy waters as the Chinese firm that was going to keep it afloat ran into its own financial difficulties, and pulled the plug. While the near future needs a lot of new funding, the department is in fine fettle. The company's archives are looked after by Glasgow University and business and economy editor, Douglas Fraser went along to learn more from senior archivist Moira Rankin.
