When showboating in the boxing ring goes wrong
Boxer Sam Maxwell talks through his dramatic knockout of French opponent Sabri Sediri in the final seconds of their fight.
Maxwell had been knocked down twice and looked to be about to lose the decision. However, seconds after Sediri had goaded the Liverpool-based fighter by dropping his hands and exaggerating his feints, Maxwell landed a two-punch combination which left the Frenchman on the floor. Referee Steve Gray waved off the contest after Sediri failed to recover.
Maxwell was speaking on the latest edition of the 5 live Boxing podcast with Costello and Bunce.
