The death of the Celtic great Billy McNeill aged 79 has sparked a wave of tributes from far and wide. Perhaps his greatest achievement was becoming the first British player to lift the European Cup in a 2-1 win over Inter-Milan in 1967. The side remain the only Scottish team to win the cup.
