In session

This week's live music comes from a 19-year-old musician, from Worcester, who's recently been played on Ö÷²¥´óÐã 6 Music.
Ìý
The New Consistent is the brainchild of Ben Ramsay and Swim Deep's lead singer, Austin Williams, who produced some of the tracks.
Ìý
With clever story telling lyrics, Ben's influences include The Streets and Jorja Smith.
Ìý
“Incredible words that just jump out at you and touch your soul - mesmerising" - Andrew Marston.

Ibiza Rocks

A Worcester DJ, who landed the opportunity of a lifetime working for Ibiza Rocks, has returned back to the city following this week's closing parties.
Ìý
Jay Newman, who runs the Pro-ject Warehouse, has beeen organising the events on San Antonio's beach front - and this season has been splitting his time between Ibiza and Worcester.
Ìý
He made his name, as a promoter, on the local music scene by hosting parties at underground locations - including a car wash.
Ìý
Jay has also landed the job as the official DJ for the Formula 1 world tour.

Music Video

We're going behind-the-scenes of Kidderminster's newest music video, focussing on the issue of climate change.
Ìý
Ian Passey's work, under the moniker of The Humdrum Express, has been championed by Steve Lamacq on Ö÷²¥´óÐã 6music - who also invited him for a live session.
Ìý
His latest video has been directed by another Kidderminster man - the award winningÌýfilm maker Nick J Townsend.
Ìý
Nick makes countless music videos a year – after the ones he produced and directed for his own band, Weak13, caught the attention of other artists.

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Music Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

This month's sessions come from the Worcester Music Festival where we hosted a stage at Annie's Burger Shack.
Ìý
So far, the festival has raised more than £55,000 for local charities.
Ìý
Music was hosted in pubs, clubs, cafes, bars - you name it, the whole of Worcester was taken over with the sound of new music!
Ìý

Musicians' Masterclass

We take a look at the importance of publishing - and how it could be your retirement fund.
Ìý
This week, we hear from:
Ìý
  • Singer/songwriter, and now Ö÷²¥´óÐã 6 Music presenter, Tom Robinson
  • Paul Smith, the lead singer of alternative rock band Maximo Park, who's enjoyed success with seven top 40 singles
  • Emily Phillips, who's been writing songs for major labels for more than a decade - including John Newman's 'Love Me Again'.Ìý
    Ìý
They discussed the potential pitfalls of publishing deal clauses - and how to make sure you earn what you are owed.

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Music Introducing in Bromyard

Our next recording session takes place at the Conquest Theatre in Bromyard on Sunday, 24 November from 7pm.
Ìý
If you've only ever driven through the town before, the Conquest is on what we like to call 'Nozstock Street!'.
Ìý
The theatre has now been hosting events at its Tenbury Road location for a quarter of a century - but they'd been campaigning for a facility like this since the '50s, according to the records book.
Ìý
Originally, events had been held in an 'old tin hut' which had been built in 1919 by the Royal British Legion.ÌýBut eventually they decided an all-singing, all-dancing venue was what the town needed.
Ìý
We'd love to see you on the 24th - simply turn up, there's no need to book.
