Artist of the Week

Since a very early age, Droitwich's Laura Christopher knew she wanted to be a professional singer - but never had the confidence...until now.
Ìý
After Sixth Form, she went to audition for a record label in Leeds.
Ìý
Because of a lack of social media presence, she was turned away - and has been spamming YouTube and Facebook ever since!
Ìý
She's now performed a variety of gigs, including corporate events, weddings, pubs, cafe's, charity events and private parties.Ìý
Ìý
Now, aged 22, she's looking to take the word by storm with her Ella Eyre, Zara Larsson, Miley Cyrus-inspired debut single 'Better Off'.

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Music Introducing Live: Jake Bugg

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing Live returned to Tobacco Dock, last weekend, for a huge three-day festival.
Ìý
Jake Bugg joined Radio 1's Huw Stephens, in conversation at the Discovery Theatre, sharing his Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing journey from the East Midlands to Glastonbury's Pyramid stage via Ö÷²¥´óÐã Maida Vale.
Ìý
We hear how he learned to trust his judgement on who to work with; and being 18 and seeing his song soundtrack an advert featuring Tiger Woods & Michael Jordan!

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Music Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

This month's sessions come from the Worcester Music Festival where we hosted a stage at Annie's Burger Shack.

So far, the festival has raised more than £55,000 for local charities.
Ìý
Music was hosted in pubs, clubs, cafes, bars - you name it, the whole of Worcester was taken over with the sound of new music!

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Music Introducing in Bromyard

Our next recording session takes place at the Conquest Theatre in Bromyard on Sunday, 24 November from 7pm.
Ìý
If you've only ever driven through the town before, the Conquest is on what we like to call 'Nozstock Street!'.
Ìý
The theatre has now been hosting events at its Tenbury Road location for a quarter of a century - but they'd been campaigning for a facility like this since the '50s, according to the records book.
Ìý
Originally, events had been held in an 'old tin hut' which had been built in 1919 by the Royal British Legion.ÌýBut eventually they decided an all-singing, all-dancing venue was what the town needed.
Ìý
We'd love to see you on the 24th - simply turn up, there's no need to book.
