Many Christians are told to wait till marriage to have sex - but some say they were given harmful messaging.

Two actresses in the UK have developed their own theatre plays to explore what they see as 'purity culture' messaging, which prompted feelings of guilt and shame which they challenge in their work.

But other UK Christians say that abstinence till marriage has worked for them.
