The sisters discuss what it means to be a female writer in the 19th Century, revealing they used male nom de plumes. We also learn about Emily鈥檚 love of the moors and that their brother Branwell is somewhat feckless.
There is a mock advert about the nefarious railway tycoon, George Hudson. There is also a quiz question about the fact the Bront毛鈥檚 actually had to pay a lot of money to get published.
Furious with a poor review for Anne鈥檚 novel, Agnes Grey, Charlotte leads the sisters in demanding that listeners use their imaginations as much as possible and read good books.
