Aimee Fuller brings you The Winter Olympic Mile podcast on 主播大秀 Sounds. With the Beijing winter games edging ever closer, it felt only right that she catches up with some of the athletes who are heading out to represent their nations. As a former professional snowboarder and two-time winter Olympian, she knows just how it feels, so is buzzing to introduce you to some of Team GB鈥檚 finest, as they prepare for their shot at Olympic gold, as well as some of the biggest international names from around the world.

This time on the podcast Aimee catches up with two Team GB snowboarders, slopestyle and big air athlete Katie Ormerod, and snowboard-cross racer Charlotte Bankes.

Aimee has watched Katie climb up through the ranks of their sport, and loves her fearless nature to try new tricks. They both headed out to Pyenongchang together but Katie suffered a freak accident on one of the practice days and had to pull out through injury just days before the event. So this fightback to full fitness has meant her qualification is even sweeter and she won鈥檛 want to miss out on this Olympic opportunity again. Aimee caught up with Katie in Austria ahead of the games.

Plus, Aimee linked up with Charlotte Bankes while she was at her home in France to get the lowdown on her recent world cup gold medal winning successes, and just how she got into the sport. Charlotte also describes what she gets up to in the off season, including sailing across the Atlantic!
