Cost of living and shoplifting: Should we be more compassionate?
Stephen Nolan asks if we should be understanding of people who are so desperate they resort to shoplifting.
We鈥檙e used to seeing security tags on alcohol, electronics and razorblades, but now the Co-op have put anti-theft devices on blocks of cheese 鈥� it鈥檚 seen as a sign shoplifting is on the increase as the cost of living deepens.
