The BAFTA award-winning screenwriter Abi Morgan has numerous screenwriting credits which include The Split, The Hour, Suffragette and the Iron Lady. This is Not a Pity Memoir is her first book. It begins on an ordinary June day, with Abi getting through her seemingly endless to do list. When she gets home, the man she has loved and fought and laughed with for twenty years is collapsed on the bathroom floor. Nothing will ever be the same for Abi, Jacob and their two children. What follows is the story of how Abi and her family navigated the worst times. It鈥檚 honest, courageous funny, and hopeful. And it鈥檚 a tender love story. Sometimes the language is strong.
