The Arrest of Nicola Sturgeon - what does it mean for her and the SNP?

Nicola Sturgeon has been released without charge pending further investigations after being arrested by police working on the SNP finances inquiry.

Scotland's former first minister, Nicola Sturgeon, has been released without charge, after being questioned by police investigating the SNP's finances. In a strongly worded statement, Ms Sturgeon said she knew "beyond doubt" she was innocent of any wrongdoing. She said "to find myself in the situation I did today when I am certain I have committed no offence is both a shock and deeply distressing".

Police Scotland has been investigating for the past two years what happened to 拢660,000 of donations given to the SNP by independence activists for use in a future referendum campaign. The former party treasurer, Colin Beattie, and its former chief executive, Peter Murrell - who is Ms Sturgeon's husband - were both arrested and released without charge in April. So how significant are these latest developments? With the answers in this episode of 5 Questions On - is our Scotland correspondent, Lorna Gordon.
