Aminata Kamara looks at the Leicester Legacy, 75 years since the HMT Empire Windrush landed at Tilbury. We look at the impact made by people from the Caribbean who answered a call from the motherland to help rebuild post war Britain.

We hear the memories of Caribbeans in Leicester. We hear about those first days in England, to the anger and frustration over the government's immigration policies. They lead to people being denied their citizenship and in some cases being deported. We also find out how the contributions of the Windrush generation are being kept alive.
