Prominent Biden ally Chris Coons has told HARDtalk that Israel is 鈥渓osing support globally鈥� because there have been 鈥渢oo many civilian casualties鈥� in Gaza.
Speaking to HARDtalk鈥檚 Stephen Sackur, Coons refused to be answer whether Israel had violated international law, but he denied that there was a split within the US government over Biden鈥檚 stance.
Coons, who is national co-chair of Biden's 2024 re-election campaign, was part of a delegation which met with Netanyahu, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and President el-Sisi last month.
Coons was speaking in an interview recorded on November 15th in Washington, D.C.
