Constance Marten's defence team begin their closing speech. Ms Marten and her partner Mark Gordon are charged with causing the death of their newborn child.
Closing speeches continue in court room five at the Old Bailey. Constance Marten's defence barrister praises the jury and defends his client saying what happened to baby Victoria was: "A terrible and tragic accident."
Ms Marten and Mark Gordon are charged with causing Victoria's death after her body was found in a supermarket shopping bag, in a shed on an allotment near Brighton in March 2023.
Both deny the charges against them.
