The US is in ongoing discussions about the possibility of rejoining talks the Trans-Pacific Partnership, according to its Treasury Secretary.

TPP is a planned multi-lateral trade deal, bringing together 11 nations around the Pacific rim. It was supposed to be 12, but President Trump decided the US would not be part of it.

However, Steven Mnuchin says there is "a lot of interest" in bringing the US back into discussions. We hear reaction from Wendy Cutler, who helped to negotiate TPP.
