Major bank releases climate disaster report

Investment bank JP Morgan releases a report on environmental disaster and banking

Investment bank JP Morgan releases a report on environmental disaster and banking – the Ö÷²¥´óÐã’s Tom Espiner tells us what he reads in to the report, titled "Risky business: the climate and the macroeconomy", and if the rest of corporate America is thinking along similar lines. Also: stoicism continues along with hard work and a never-say-die attitude in Australia, as they rebuild after the wildfires. We have the CEO of Anglo-American talking to us on the environmental virtues of mining, on the day they reveal that revenues were up in 2019. And Big Brother might be in the office - when the bosses keep tabs by counting the keystrokes, counting the cigarette puffs, counting the seconds spent in the loo…. We ask how uncomfortable it can all be - sometimes for all parties involved. All this is discussed with Nicole Childers at Marketplace radio in LA, and former Hong Kong government official Rachel Cartland of Cartland Consulting.
