Waves of anti-lockdown protest in the US

Trump has appeared to endorse protests against stringent lockdown measures

Demonstrations are growing across the country to end the lockdowns. And they appear to be getting the support of President Trump. Protesters say the severe economic restrictions are hurting citizens, even as health officials warn lifting them could spread infection. We hear from attorney David Helm, who represents four Michigan residents who have filed a federal lawsuit against the state governor.

We also look at the impact of coronavirus pandemic on the Australian economy.

Accountancy firm EY has been ordered to pay $10.8m in damages to a whistleblower who claimed it covered up evidence of money laundering. EY say they will appeal. We have more details of the case.

The head of the IMF says predictions of huge economic declines may be understatements. Kristalina Georgieva has been speaking to the 主播大秀's Faisal Islam. Also in the programme, we consider a range of scenarios aimed at helping poorer countries manage their burgeoning government debt in the midst of the coronavirus crisis.
