South Korea pardons ex-president Park Guen-hye

The 69 year old was serving 22 years for corruption

The former South Korean president, Park Geun-hye, is to be granted a presidential pardon. She was convicted in 2018 for her part in a huge corruption scandal which involved major S Korean conglomerates including Samsung.
