Canada will block two of China's biggest telecom equipment firms from its 5G networks. The move to exclude ZTE and Huawei brings Canada in line with its intelligence partners in the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand. We ask Canadian technology journalist Takara Small why the country took a long time to impose the ban.
