Amid concern about supply from Russia, Germany has invoked its emergency gas plan. Carsten Brzeski is global head of macro research at ING, and tells us what the move actually means. Also in the programme, as part of an ongoing economic crisis, Sri Lanka has introduced enforced 10 hour power cuts. Dimuthu Attanayake is a journalist in the capital Colombo, and discusses the impact the power cuts are having. The Ethiopian government has pledged to bring home around 100,000 citizens currently living in Saudi Arabia, following reports of undocumented migrants being subjected to inhumane treatment there.
