A volcano billowing smoke high on the rooftops of Jerusalem, documentary theatre bus trips and a big Kulna music festival performed by musicians from different parts of the city - just some of the events being created for Mekudeshet, a three and a half week season of arts and culture taking place across Jerusalem. Mekudeshet鈥檚 artistic director is Israeli Itay Mautner, who wants to dissolve boundaries through the arts. We follow Itay as he prepares for this big city wide festival, with the problems and joys of designing a season in the one of the most beloved and disputed cities in the world.
