Chris is Film Critic for the Daily Mail. He is author of The Critics’ Film Guide, and was Chairman of the British Film Critics’ Circle between 1994 and 1998.
Before he turned to writing and broadcasting full-time, 15 years ago, he produced and directed hundreds of TV programmes. He has written the book, music and lyrics for ten stage musicals, the most recent of which is Hard Times, which he directed, co-wrote and co-produced. |
