Nigel Cole
Francine Stock talks to Nigel Cole, the British director of the Women's Institute film Calendar Girls. Cole has moved over to Hollywood to make A Lot Like Love, a romantic comedy starring Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet. The film follows a stretched-out romance between a couple who after a brief fling decide to meet up again six years later.

Robert Mitchum
Actor Simon Callow and writer Lee Server remember the Hollywood original outsider Robert Mitchum, who died in 1997. Mitchum's memorable roles include the pulp hero of Out of the Past, the murderous ex-con in Cape Fear, the drunken sheriff in El Dorado and Preacher in The Night of the Hunter.
听 The season at the National Film Theatre in London runs from 1-31 July 2005.

Czech Dream
Filmmaker Filip Remunda explains how he and co-director V铆t Klus谩k created a virtual store for their film project Czech Dream. They arranged packaging design,听advertising听and even a grand opening. The only thing missing was the store itself. At the opening thousands turned out to find nothing behind the giant fa莽ade except an empty field.
