In this series you'll hear second and third generation British Chinese speak about our experiences of growing up and living in this country. One of the principal themes of the series will be to look at the whole issue of invisibility - we're the third largest ethnic minority here so why have we remained such ghostly figures on the landscape of British society and what are we doing now to make ourselves more visible? Hopefully the series will help to dispel some of the standard stereotypes of British Chinese - we don't all do kung fu and work in takeaways!
