Consistent success at the card table is rarely down to pure luck. It takes a cunning combination of psychological prowess, a keen eye for detail and a good memory for numbers. Well, at least that's the view of two would-be poker aficionados, Simon "Slowhand" Singh and Raj "Pokerface" Persaud.

In Wild Cards听 they put their theories to the test when they team up against a formidable trio of old poker hands in an effort to discover what makes a successful player. Between the moodys, flops and kickers they reveal fascinating mathematical and psychological insights that they hope may lead them to victory.
