Staying in the classroom and out of the maternity ward

Teenagers will continue in school or training until the age of 18 as part of new laws passed this week. By听2015 all 18-year-olds will have to participate in some form of education and training. As it stands teenagers can leave school at 16. Research from Norway and the US has shown that increasing compulsory schooling seems to reduce the instance of teenagers giving听birth.
