Kathryn Williams 17 Feb 2010
Kathryn Williams
Kathryn Williams has been described as 'the great hope of English folk' and was nominated for the Mercury Prize for her millennium album 'Little Black Numbers'. She has since gone on to enchant audiences with what reviewers have called a quizzical and darkly sensual approach to songwriting. Kathryn talks to Jenni about her latest release -Ìý 'The Quickening'Ìý- and discovers why she chose to record the album in only four days, with musicians who had never heard the songs prior to the recording.
Ìý
Her latest album 'THe Quickening' is released by One Little Indian on 22nd February 2010 Ìý
