Summer photo comp

Didn't put any pics into the Unst Show this year, so i'll try my hand at Scallowawife's competition.
I was in Norway a lot this summer, 3 times in all, so forgive me if the pics are of a norsk flavour.
And I suppose I can't actually enter the last 3 pictures in the competition, as I didn't take them. But they were part of my summer and thought they should be blogged.

Number 3 sounds interesting...........possibly reminiscent of the Great Toe-sucking Incident of a certain youthful Duchess. If only we could see it!

Oooh, the tension. Maybe IBHQ has done me a favour - this blog seems to be getting plenty comments as a result of the technical hitch. As for Steering by toe, well, you'll just have to wait........

That tension comment had me confused; I thought I had stumbled on Sunny's Plain'n'Purrl Club again. Mine's still a white ? in a blue square - maybe that's because I'm a macosxy mog, not a microsofty midden! I hope Anne gets this sorted out before I lose access to the iBook for two whole weeks: maybe New Cattery People will let me use theirs..............

But the toes are rather fetching..........in a Sid Perks and Jolene in the shower sort of way. 8/10.

Herman - I think she has headed for London and has indeed been 'snapped up' Can't wait to see the photos fae there... flying cat - when were Sid and Jolene in the shower??!! I missed the Archers over the summer (too much travellin... better things to do...) The first photo gets my vote for scenic artistic-ness, the toe one gets 10/10 for making me wonder just what was going on behind the camera!

Sid and Jolene shocked the nation by having a steamy shower scene whilst enjoying an illicit relationship when Sid was still married to whingeing Cathy. Now they are respectably married, they don't do that sort of thing any more.........

Keep up the good work Ruthodanort, as I went through all the Shetland sights I began to think Lerwick Street had talked me into something, that I would begin to feel a little lonely with, so I was relieved to find that their was some other big softies like me in Shetland,lovely photos. been stuck in London for an extra day, and the computers at Stansted are the first chance I've had to look at the blogs. wouldo been nice to have looked yestreen, but never got as far as the departure lounge. Still, Atlantic Airways did us proud and put up all 30 o us in the Radisson. Very nice. Ta Herman for the child mindin! ps. Had a very nice time in London.

Lucky you! All I got for my plane delay was a luncheon voucher instead of Radisson, but on the plus side got to spend an extra day with a bunch of friendly Shetlanders and a few visitors in Sumburgh Airport.

Aussie Jenny!! Just figured oot who you are! Good to hear fae dee, I got an email fae Patricia and replied to her, with an in-depth description of what turned into a 3 day journey home. Nearly made it to Faroe tho, but Atlantic Airways turned us back to Aberdeen instead. Think I'll do a London visit blog next with all the travel chaos included.
