H酶st (Autumn) in Norway

Just been a peedie visit to see my Norski boyfriend, and, for me, a tree deprived Orcadian Shetlander, it was a treat.
He told me that a lot of the leaves had fallen during the previous weekend when they had strong wind, but it looked pretty good to me.
I went a peedie trip to Voss on the train, and took a few photos from the window. Sorry about the blurry bits and reflections!
But I didn't need to go far from the house for some nice views. These are all from the area i stayed, not too far from Bergen.
I got home Thursday evening, and woke the next morning to a southerly gale with grey skies and rain. Can't complain, though, I've been spoiled this last week.

...a veritable cherub...I'm guessing that's what Tws from Moving Blogs (was it the sennapods?) meant to say but didn't quite get around to. The one with the green fur and many lugs is rather lovely...mmmmm trees...for leaping up into...for scratching...for lurking under...and maybe for a wee quiet snog-while-no-one's-looking...fpu says 'NB'. Whatever that means...

Not the pretty reflections Rab, I mean sorry for the ones you can just mak oot on the train windows! If you look closely you can see the person sitting in front of me. I like the pretty reflections myself, and saw some beautiful sights around water when I was in Norge, as always.

I'm getting confused here ( alright more confused) Ruth found a man on her doorstep? Carol is going to NZ to get married, I've got that, but is Carol marrying Pascal? Who is in France, is he not? The ring is being made in Australia, so do you stop en-route to NZ to pick it up? Surely with a woman of your age, a copper washer would do? Oh, erm, a woman of your prime of life age, beautifully scrubbed up, I'm sure, is what I should have put. But I'm still lost. No sat-nav will get me out of this.

Don't worry Carol, tws is a man, and as we all know, men cannot possibly understand basic English, especially when it involves relationships. It is absolutely no surprise to me that tws thinks Pascal is in France, whereas it's totally clear to all who actually read your comments that he is in NZ. But you can't blame tws, he is male, and that's excuse enough.... However, he should have to crawl a bit to get back into your good books regarding that age comment.

ruthie: i hate to say this but tws is RIGHT,man with the magic fingertips was on standby to fly back on the 29th november but the way things are going he'll be flying out with me yup in five weeks i'm away to allblackland!! Pascal has kept putting back his depart ,god knows why!! the ring is being made in oz as he has a friend who designs jewellery---he really spoils me (and kick starts my butt into action now and again) metaphoriclly speaking of course!! and tws; sticks and stones can't break my bones well not yet at least!

Carol, how long are you away for? Are you going to see Pascal in NZ? Are you doing anything special when you're there? (Just seeing him again will be special, of course, that goes without saying!) How do you keep in touch? Do you Skype? I tried that but it didn't work so good, so I use a messenger thingy with webcam. Can anyone remember what the world was like without broadband?

Very nice pictures, Rutho. Last down: you should layer up more, then you won't feel the cold creeping up on you. Three from bottom is amazing: are these natural moss plus mushrooms of some kind growing on that tree? It's beautiful, and a very good photo. I am glad you had a wonderful time.
